Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Email me and I'll answer before you book.

What areas do you serve?

I travel to clients throughout Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties, including Pensacola and Milton. A travel fee of $15–$35 applies within my standard service area and is always quoted before we book.

What identification do I need to bring?

Please bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as a Florida driver's license, state ID, or U.S. passport. Every signer must present their own original ID.

How much will my appointment cost?

Document appointments start at $45, with the exact fee depending on your documents, signers, and location. Florida law caps the notarial portion at $10 per in-person act and $25 per online act. Travel ($15–$35 within my standard service area) and any online platform fees are separate — I confirm your total upfront, before you book.

When are you available?

Weekdays from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Weekends and holidays are by appointment only, so just reach out and I'll find a time that works for you.

Can you help me fill out or choose my documents?

I'm not able to prepare documents, complete blanks, or give legal or tax advice. Please bring your documents prepared and unsigned, and I'll confirm any witness requirements before your appointment.

Can you come to a hospital or assisted living facility?

Yes. I regularly meet clients at hospitals, senior facilities, and other care settings across the area, and I make time for urgent signings whenever I can.

Do you offer remote online notarization?

Yes, for eligible documents. We meet over secure audio-video with online identity verification, and any platform fee is quoted upfront before booking.

Do you complete I-9 employment verification?

Yes. As your employer's authorized representative, I review the documents and complete Section 2. A standard I-9 appointment is $25 for one employee locally, mobile I-9 verification is $50, and employer or bulk appointments get a custom quote. An I-9 is not a notarization and doesn't use a notary seal.

What is a loan signing, and how much does it cost?

A loan signing is the notarization of lender or closing documents — refinances, purchases, seller packages, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, and commercial loans. Refinance / HELOC packages are $125, purchase / buyer packages $150, seller / cash deals $100–$125, reverse mortgages $175–$200, and commercial loans $200+ based on package size and complexity. I confirm everything with you upfront before we book.

Can you get an apostille for my document?

Apostilles are issued by the Florida Secretary of State, not by a notary. What I do is make sure your documents are notarized correctly so they're ready for the apostille process, and I'll walk you through the steps to send them in.

Do you perform marriage ceremonies?

Yes. Ceremony and officiant service is $350. If you only need your marriage license signed, that's $50. Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements are $125 each, a post-marriage name change affidavit is $10, and I can order a certified copy of your marriage certificate for you for $10. Bring your agreements complete and unsigned, and I'll confirm your total before we book.

Can you notarize my divorce papers?

Yes. Marital settlement agreements, parenting plan agreements, and child support agreements are $125 each, and a post-divorce name change affidavit is $10. I can't prepare the documents or give legal advice — bring them complete and unsigned and I'll confirm your total before we book.
